AMD 333: Visual Cultures

CSUSM library collections, like most large research and academic libraries, are organized according to the Library of Congress Classification System. This system organizes knowledge broadly by subject. It was first developed in the late nineteenth century to arrange the book collections of the Library of Congress, so it has an acknowledged Western, Eurocentric bias.
