Census Business Builders
The Census Business Builder (CBB) is a suite of services that provide selected demographic and economic data from the Census Bureau tailored to specific types of users in a simple to access and use format.
Combines demographic information with the American Consumer Survey both from the Census. Helpful in identifying who resides in an area and what their demographics and very basic spending on consumer products might be.
- Census Business Builder (version 5.1)Small Business Edition is primarily for small business owners who need key data for their business plan or to better understand their potential market. It presents data for a single type of business or a single industry cluster at a time.

- SCAG (Southern California Association of Governments)Visit the SCAG's Data & Tools section. Here you will find "local profiles" of cities covered by the region. Also found here are forecasting and modeling tools. They are building out a GIS tool but provide links to their GIS open portal.
