About this Award

Applying for a $600 cash prize and public recognition of your amazing work is easy if you meet the simple criteria listed below:

  • You are enrolled as a CSUSM undergraduate student (or group of students) at the time of project completion.

    • We like all types of projects! They can range from written research papers to creative works such as art, music, lyrics, poetry, dance, etc.).

    • Group projects can win too! Just make sure that if you are completing the project as a group, the submission for this award is completed by the entire group. If a group project is selected to win an award, the $600 cash prize will be distributed equally among all group members.

  • The work is/was created as part of a class or Independent Study at CSUSM during the following terms: Summer 2020, Fall 2020 or Spring 2021.

  • You include a narrative explaining your research processes (hint: this is a library award so we really want to know about your research processes and the library resources used).
