Remember that anyone can make zines (yes, even you)! There is no required skill level since this format if beginner friendly and also allows you to grow creatively.
Zines can take time to make, especially if you're making one for a class assignment so give yourself enough time for the zine making process.
Once you've made your zine, you will need to print it (if made digitally) and then choose a method to bind it together. Here are some helpful links to guide you on finishing your zine!
In printing, imposition means arranging pages for a booklet so that they appear in the correct order for the final printed piece. If you make your zine with software or a digital tool, you'll likely need your pages to be imposed.
Once you have your zine pages, you can choose from a number of binding techniques. Some students have used items to bind that were on theme with their zine, such as a crocheted cord and crucifix chain, or used other tools like a sewing machine, etc. You can also use simple methods, like stapling or string/thread.
