What is copyright?

Students who submit their work to the Cougar JUGR will retain copyright.

All submissions will be Open Access and distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) 4.0 license, which permits unrestricted production, distribution, and adaptation, provided that citation of the original work is included. 

What are your rights?

Each journal has its own policy regarding copyright.

You will want to know what their policy is and whether you can retain any of your rights. This information can usually be found on the about or information for authors pages.
