Library Workshop & Research Plan

In your cougar courses locate the library resources section. 

Required Research Planning Form complete on or before February 23, 2024

Steps to complete your research plan:

  1. Complete (as a team) your research plan (linked in your course shell

  • You will need to provide the following: email address to team lead, team number, name of the sponsor. 

    • The planner asks you about research related to the following areas: (View questions as a PDF, note submit the form online (see link above)

      • Company

      • Industry 

      • Project Scope - research/methods
Optional Research Consultation with the librarian - 
  1. Use Calendly (librarian's scheduling software) to view a time that works for a research consultation. Librarian will confirm your research appointment and provide a Zoom meeting link. 

  2. Arrive on time for your consultation with the Business & Economics Librarian. Be prepared to discuss the submitted (this was done in step #1) research plan. This time is intended to help you and your team.

  3. If you cannot make your scheduled meeting please request to cancel or reschedule (a professional courtesy).

  4. Students have work/life/school scheduling challenges on occasion, if times in Calendly will not work, please email me directly - jopdahl@csusm.edu  I can schedule a research consultation outside of normal 9 to 5 hours.
